Fresh Report: Fishing Is OFF THE CHAIN on the Aniak

Updated: Feb 3

Off and Running with Great Success in our 2019 Season and “Off-the-Chain Fishing” on the recent July 13th week. Our Global Angling Tours—Aniak River Alaska Adventures Destination is HOT! There are usually hot weather conditions in Alaska, but fishing is hot as well!

Global Angling Tours Guest with Aniak River Chum Salmon

A world fly angler and first-time visitor states he “may have just landed the biggest bow ever” on this river. Some other comments: "The Aniak was really great. One of the best fishing trips I've been on, which is a lot. I do 4-6 trips per year." "Fishing was great. I caught over 100 fish. Seven (7) different species." "Guides were all excellent."

We had a little rain (thank goodness it helped with the Alaskan fires in that area), bringing the water up a little bit, but daily the river was consistently dropping. The end of the week brought perfect water situations. What an amazing fishery! As expected, the mood for this week was phenomenal! Everyone had an exciting time and is ready to return next season. Remote, unique, technical waters, top-notch guides, and first-class customer service—even in the Alaskan bush!

As many have said, “You truly have to experience this fishery to believe it!" Call today at (844) 626-2966. (You should book early to secure your spot, as this premier venue has a short season and really BOOKS UP QUICKLY!) Inquire about our fully hosted trips for the 2020 season. Groups are forming now.
